Sample Stages -- Hinds has developed different stages that may be used separately or in combination with each other for optimum sample holding and orientation.

Maximum View Stage -- A "Maximum View" stage has a sample surface consisting of a grid of coated wires to hold film samples flat with minimum external stress.

Tilt Stage -- A Tilt Stage is available to orient the samples through 50 degrees, in 5 degree increments, for calculation of vertical birefringence.

Data collection software - Hinds has developed several different data collection programs for use with our systems. MT system users, for example, use our DLL software to quickly transmit measurement and system information to the OEM's computer system.

Special Wavelengths - All AT systems are available with a standard 632.8nm HeNe laser. These systems may be outfitted with IR and other visible wavelengths. Contact Hinds with your specifications.
